If Earth did not rotate, what would happen to the global winds? Why?

Winds are created when one place is high in temperature, and another is lower, or the other way around. Therefore, if the Earth did not rotate, only one part of the world would be getting heated, so there would be constant winds on the other side of the world.

The wind would completely stop due to the fact that there would be no source for the wind to come from.
