You would have never guessed that Sherwood Food Distributors Food Show on April 14th 2010 was the first time the Detroit division hosted their own show. The event, at Shenendoah Country Club, went off without a hitch, making the First Annual Sherwood Food Show a rousing success.
Besides the strong showing of our local Detroit area customers, Sherwood customers from as far as Mexico made the trip to the Show. With over 80 vendors in attendance from across the United States, their mission was to give Sherwood’s customers one of a kind In Show Specials.

With outstanding deals on beef, deli, poultry, turkey, frozen food, bakery, cheese, pork, seafood, lamb, veal, dairy, processed meats and food service products, it was next to impossible to get a better deal than at the Sherwood Food Show.
Getting great deals was one thing, but don’t forget about the prizes. Five lucky Sherwood customers walked away with a 32 inch LCD flat screen TV, a new Apple iPad, a digital camera, a Kindle and a laptop computer.
Sherwood’s customers weren’t the only ones who benefited from the show, Forgotten Harvest, a local area food bank received a donation of 4700 pounds of fresh meat and food after the show.
Sherwood would like to thank all of our vendors, as well as our valued customers, who made the show such a great success. We are looking forward to making our next show even better than our first.
